Delta Air Lines has announced an expansion of its Summer 2025 flight schedule, reintroducing seven routes across the United States and Latin America.
The aim is to meet the increasing travel demand during the peak summer season.
The airline will connect major hubs in Atlanta, Detroit, and Minneapolis-St. Paul to preferred summer destinations, including Bangor, Punta Cana, Bozeman, and others.
The newly added routes will be operational on Saturdays, providing travelers with an expanded choice of leisure destinations.
These range from the pristine beaches and clear waters of the Caribbean to scenic landscapes and National Parks.
The expansion will enhance Atlanta's domestic service with nonstop Saturday flights to Bangor, Maine, and Rapid City, South Dakota.
Detroit is set to benefit the most from this schedule update, with four new Saturday flights to popular summer destinations.
These include Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Bozeman, Montana; and Pensacola and Destin, both in Florida.
Minneapolis-St. Paul will also see an addition to its flight schedule with a Saturday service to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
The Atlanta to Bangor and Rapid City routes will operate from June 8 to September 7, 2025, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Detroit's new routes will run from May 10 to August 2, 2025, for Punta Cana, and from June 8 to September 7, 2025, for Bozeman, Pensacola, and Destin.
These flights will utilize Boeing 737-900, Airbus A319, and Boeing 717 aircraft, respectively.
Lastly, the Minneapolis-St. Paul to Jackson Hole route will also be operational from June 8 to September 7, 2025, with Airbus A319 aircraft.
