How would the 2024 F1 championship look without Verstappen?

Max Verstappen enjoyed a strong campaign as he drove to his fourth F1 title - but how would the standings look if he was not part of the equation?

The 2024 F1 drivers' championship went the way of Max Verstappen, with the Dutchman grabbing his fourth title for Red Bull.

He enjoyed a dominant start to the year, which proved crucial in the final outcome of the standings as rival teams caught up to Red Bull during the campaign.

But what if Verstappen was not part of the equation at all? For a bit of fun on Christmas, RacingNews365 has calculated how standings would have looked if Verstappen was removed from the situation.

Some scenarios are impossible to calculate - for example, we have not accounted for the points Norris likely would have taken in Austria if not for his race-ending clash with Verstappen.

It nevertheless would have been the McLaren driver coming out on top for his first title ahead of Charles Leclerc.

However, the battle would have been a lot closer, with the reinvented fight coming down to the final round in Abu Dhabi.

See the revised drivers' standings from 2024 - without Verstappen!
