Has Mansory started launching better-looking products? It seems so, as we recently covered a Rolls-Royce Spectre that we wouldn't be ashamed to drive.
We blamed that makeover on the exterior colors, and we must repeat ourselves in this case.
The front hood has remained stock, and so has the bumper, by the looks of it. However, the tuner has added its signature touch with a few attachments, including the chin spoiler.
The front fenders have vents right above the wheels, and further back, this Italian supercar features new side skirts with integrated wings toward the rear.
The intakes feeding air to the mid-mounted engine have new surrounds, and a fresh diffuser with a more aggressive design and a motorsport-like brake light in the middle dominates the back end.
A new spoiler is also visible above the taillights, as well as a double wing. This Ferrari 296 GTS has new wheels that appear to be about the same size as the stock ones.
As for the colors Mansory has used on this build, they mix a black overall finish for the body with several gold accents, including the double racing stripes that run across the exotic machine's length and were also replicated on the aftermarket alloys and on the Mansory-branded brake calipers.
Additional gold accents are visible on the outside, as well as in the cabin, where we can also see the Italian flag motif and black upholstery.
Speaking of the latter, it combines leather and Alcantara, and everything is sprinkled with the tuner's logo. There are also some extra carbon fiber accents for a sportier vibe, and these round off the visual makeover.
Just like Mansory's previous take on the Ferrari 296 GTS, this Tempesta GTS also benefits from a power boost.
The supercar comes with 553 pound-feet (750 Nm) of torque and 858 horsepower (870 ps/640 kW).
Due to the revised oily bits and added oomph, the 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) acceleration has become a 2.8-second affair.
At 205 miles an hour (330 kph), the top speed has remained the same.
The stock Ferrari 296 GTS is one-tenth of a second slower than its Mansory Tempesta GTS tuned counterpart, and the electrified V6 powertrain is good for 546 pound-feet (740 Nm) of torque and 818 horsepower (830 ps/610 kW) combined.
So, do you dig the look of the new Mansory Tempesta GTS? And if so, would you give your Ferrari 296 GTS this aftermarket treatment?
