What sets Hawaiian Airlines' Airbus A321neos apart from others?

In January 2018, Hawaiian Airlines performed its first Airbus A321neo aircraft's inaugural flight, marking a new era of a modern single-aisle fleet. The Hawaii-based airline offers nonstop flights to several islands, including Maui, Kauai, and Kona.

The mid-range aircraft is utilized primarily on routes between the mainland and neighboring islands, including smaller regional airports. These flights also ensure that cargo customers can bypass major airport transit hubs.

Hawaiian Airlines operates a fleet of 18 Airbus A321neos with an average age of 6.1 years. The airline’s choice of adding luxurious reclining seats in the front of the cabin sets it apart from the competition. Hawaiian aims to offer premium products onboard its fuel-efficient A321neo jets.

The next-generation, super-efficient Airbus narrowbody jets complement Hawaiian’s fleet of Airbus A330-200, Boeing 767-300 and Boeing 717 aircraft. The carrier's 18 Boeing 717 align well with the newest narrowbody addition.
