Wings On The Go: Buffalo Wild Wings opens 1st ever airport location in Boston

Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) has made history by opening its first-ever BWW GO location at Boston Logan International Airport, according to Inspire Stories. This marks an exciting step in the brand's evolution.

The new express-format restaurant, located in Terminal A, caters to busy travelers seeking quick, flavorful meals before their flights.

PhaseNext Hospitality, a franchisee group with a history of successful non-traditional restaurant operations, operates the location, which brings Buffalo Wild Wings' signature wings and sauces to the heart of Logan Airport.

BWW GO is part of a broader trend of quick-service dining options taking over high-traffic settings like airports, stadiums, and urban centers.

Situated in Terminal A alongside other recently opened concepts like Jimmy John's and Dunkin'—also operated by PhaseNext Hospitality—BWW GO offers a streamlined, operationally efficient dining experience designed to meet the needs of travelers on the go.

Roz Mallet, president and CEO of PhaseNext Hospitality, shared his excitement. Inspire Stories reported that he owns and operates 13 non-traditional restaurants.

"With a compelling yet operationally-friendly menu, BWW GO is an ideal fit for airports," Mallet said. "Inspire puts design and flexibility at the forefront with the BWW GO format, and I'm excited to expand our restaurant footprint with this new location."

The BWW GO menu brings a variety of the brand's fan-favorite offerings in a portable, easy-to-enjoy format. From traditional wings to boneless wings, chicken sandwiches, and burgers, all the signature Buffalo Wild Wings flavors are available for customers to enjoy before their flight.

Designed with operational efficiency in mind, the BWW GO concept serves up fast meals without compromising on the quality and bold tastes the brand is known for.

John Bowie, Buffalo Wild Wings Brand President, shared the insights:

"We've taken all the flavor that makes Buffalo Wild Wings a fan favorite and packed it into a convenient way for our guests to fuel up before a flight," says Bowie. "As we accelerate new restaurant openings across the United States, BWW GO offers franchisees an innovative, profitable format to reach guests in new venues."

Terminal A at Logan Airport is a prime location for the new BWW GO. The terminal is a hub for Delta Air Lines and was recently renovated in 2018 to enhance the passenger experience.

In addition to various dining options, Terminal A has several traveler-friendly amenities, including two Delta Sky Clubs in both the main terminal and the satellite building at Gate 7 and Gate 18.

The terminal also features four nursing rooms and two pet relief stations for those traveling with children or pets.

In Terminal A, travelers can find four nursing rooms, two pet relief stations, various ATMs, a kiddie play area, and two Delta service areas.

In addition to new dining options, Logan Airport is also enhancing the travel experience with upgrades to its amenities.

In September, JetBlue Airways announced that it would open its first-ever lounge at Logan Airport, set to debut in Terminal C next year.
