Dealer gets $2,275,000 bid on a super-rare Pagani Huayra, still refuses to sell

The Tempesta Pachetto, which is Italian for "Storm Package," was a collaboration between Pagani and Dallara. The Huayra Tempesta comes with special features.

The Italian automaker installed redesigned lower bumpers, a more aggressive front splitter, carbon fiber body panels, and reduced ground clearance.

It rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged wheels with 255/30 front and 355/25 rear Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.

Carbon-ceramic cross-drilled and ventilated Brembo disc brakes with red-painted calipers provide the stopping power.

The car features four-way adjustable Ohlins shock absorbers, while a new titanium exhaust showed up at the rear.

The Pagani Huayra can rocket from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in 2.8 seconds and hits a top speed of 238 mph (383 kph).

The Tempesta is also lighter, at 2,789 pounds (1,265 kilograms), compared to the Huayra's 2,822 pounds (1,280 kilograms).

This 2014 Huayra, number 78 of 100 ever made, was equipped with the Tempesta features in 2018, which was four years after it had rolled off the production line.

The first Huayra Tempesta set wheels on American soil in December 2023, and it was commissioned by Supercar_ron, the one who has an impressive collection of cars, but never shows his face on social media.

This is one of the few cars that arrived in America. It has just been auctioned off, but it failed to sell despite the multi-million bid.

The bidding hit $2,275,000, but the car did not meet the reserve, so it stayed with the dealer in Jupiter, Florida. However, the one who placed the highest bid will get to negotiate with the selling dealer and see if the two of them can reach an agreement.

The Pagani hypercar has only 5,000 miles on the clock, which is quite a lot for a car of this value. However, only 80 of them were added under the current ownership.

Pagani sold the Huayra for a jaw-dropping price of $2.5 million before options. For the money, the 100 lucky customers got the model powered by an AMG-sourced M158 6.0-liter V12 engine with twin turbochargers and dry-sump lubrication.

The power plant pumps out 730 horsepower (740 metric horsepower) and 811 pound-feet (1,100 Newton meters) of torque.

A single-clutch seven-speed sequential gearbox transferred power to the rear wheels.

The model with gullwing doors is finished in silver with exposed carbon fiber. Black leather upholstery with contrasting stitching, automatic climate control, a high-end 1,200-watt Sonus faber sound system, and a touchscreen round up the cabin.

Whoever takes this car home will also receive a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title, a Huayra-shaped key, service records, and fitted luggage.
